Caroline Calderon (she/her), also known as “THATFLYPINAY” is a queer Pinay DJ hailing from Los Angeles, CA. As a member of Manila Sound LA and proud alum of the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound/Ladies of Sound, THATFLYPINAY brings her eclectic sound to community events, private celebrations, and a variety of cultural spaces.

THATFLYPINAY’s style is shaped by her love for R&B, Hip-Hop, Disco, Original Pilipino Music (OPM), and the rich sounds of the AAPI Diaspora. Whether curating playlists or creating fresh mashups and remixes, her sets captivate a broad spectrum of listeners, from wedding and gala attendees to the vibrant patrons of Los Angeles’s local bars, performing arts venues, and studios. She’s known for effortlessly moving between genres like Motown oldies, throwback Hip-Hop, Top 40 hits, and showcasing music by Filipinx, AAPI, and LA-based artists.
